Laughing Lakhe is a playful design studio creating illustrated stationery and everyday objects that are meant to make you pause, smile, and feel something. Not loudly. Not desperately. Just enough.
The name comes from Lakhe, a mischievous cultural figure often associated with movement, chaos, and humour. We liked the contradiction. Something rooted in tradition, but never stiff. Familiar, but not predictable.
Laughing Lakhe exists because everyday products have become painfully boring. Not neutral boring. Soul-draining boring. We wanted to bring back colour, wit, and warmth without tipping into gimmicks or glitter-for-the-sake-of-it.
Everything we make is designed to feel human. Slightly imperfect. Thoughtfully illustrated. Made to sit on your desk, in your bag, or on your wall and quietly say, “yes, someone cared about this.”
This studio is not about trends. It is about small moments of delight. The kind you don’t post about, but notice anyway.
